Amy has been a registered nurse for nearly a decade and has spent her career working within the intensive care field, both adult and neonatal. 

Amy has focused her career in Neonatal Intensive Care and has found her passion in this field. Currently she is working in the NHS on the front-line as a senior sister and coordinator of a busy level 3 intensive care unit in the northwest of England. 

As well as her full-time clinical role, Amy holds a number of voluntary roles impacting on Neonatal and NHS services. 

Currently, Amy is a trustee and non executive director at Bliss- the sick and premature charity, working with a skilled board to help ensure the charity reaches its strategy of reaching every baby accessing neonatal care. 

As well as her charity work, Amy has recently been appointed to the NHS Assembly, helping to advise NHS England and NHS Improvements on the NHS long term strategy.
